Everything Included. One Flat Monthly Price.

Our rental bundle covers the full life of your water heater — install to replacement. No add-on fees. No surprise service charges.

The No-Surprise-Bills Promise

Hot water is essential — it shouldn't come with a roulette wheel attached. Here's what "all-inclusive" actually means.

One Monthly Bill

Every service, part, and labor charge is bundled. You know what's coming out of your account every month — period.

No Diagnostic Fees

We don't charge you to show up and tell you what's wrong. Service visits, inspections, and tune-ups are on us.

No "While We're In There" Upsells

If it's covered under the program, we cover it. You won't get a change-order at the kitchen table for a part that should have been included.

Why Omaha Homeowners Switch to Rental

Ownership looks cheaper on paper — until something breaks. Here's the real math, side by side.

Buy & Repair

The Old Way

  • $1,200–$1,800 replacement cost when the tank fails
  • $180–$350 emergency service calls
  • Anode rod, T&P valve, and element replacements billed separately
  • Unexpected leaks at 2am, water on the basement floor
  • Lifetime "ownership" costs add up to thousands
All-Inclusive Rental

The HotWater Way

  • One flat monthly bill — $20–$40 depending on tank size
  • Every part, visit, and repair included
  • Annual maintenance visit scheduled and included
  • If the tank fails, replacement is on the program
  • No surprise invoices. Predictable hot water forever.

What Omaha Homeowners Say

"My old tank leaked on a Saturday morning. Between the plumber and the new unit, I was staring at $1,600. Switched to the rental program the next week. Wish I'd done it years sooner."

— Renee M., Omaha

"Same predictable charge every month. They came out for the annual flush last week — no extra bill at the end. That's the whole point."

— Tom & Barb K., Bellevue

"I'm a renter-by-nature. I don't want to think about water heaters anymore. This is the first program in Omaha that actually bundles everything the way they advertise."

— Devin R., Elkhorn

Common Questions About Water Heater Rental

Is renting really cheaper than owning a water heater?

For most Omaha homeowners, yes — once you account for the full life of the tank. Buying a new water heater runs $1,200 to $1,800 when the old one fails, and emergency service calls typically add another $180 to $350 on top. Separate anode rod, T&P valve, and element replacements get billed individually. Multiply that across the 10-ish years most tanks last and the annualized cost often meets or beats our $20–$40/month all-inclusive bundle — and the bundle also covers the emergency replacement risk an owner carries alone.

What does "all-inclusive" actually include?

Four things, end to end. Professional installation (tank sizing, gas line, water lines, flue venting, expansion tank, code-required pan) is included up front. An annual maintenance visit covers sediment flush, anode rod inspection, T&P valve test, and burner tuning. Repair coverage handles pilot, thermocouple, valve leaks, and similar parts-and-labor issues without a separate invoice. And full replacement — if the tank fails inside the program window, we swap in a new comparable unit and cover the install. No separate charges for any of it.

Am I locked into a long-term contract?

No. The rental program runs month to month. You are not signing up for a multi-year commitment or an early-termination fee. If your situation changes — a move, a renovation, a switch back to owning — you can end the agreement without penalty.

Who actually services the rental unit?

Omaha Water Heater Specialist handles every visit — install, annual maintenance, repairs, and replacement. There is no third-party call center routing the work. You call the same local crew that put the tank in, and they know your home and your unit's service history.

What happens at the end of the rental term?

You have three paths. Continue month to month on the same predictable bill with the same coverage. Upgrade to a newer, higher-efficiency unit — we swap the tank and reset your program on the current monthly pricing. Or, if the tank has reached the end of its useful life under the program, end-of-term replacement is included: we install a new comparable unit and your coverage continues uninterrupted.
